Mexico - El Castillo Stitch
Mexico "El Castillo Stitch"

Mexico's many mesmerizing landscapes include Pacific coastal beaches, stark deserts, murky swamplands, and oasis-like watering holes. Strewn with Mayan ruins, including the notable Chichen Itza and Teotihuacan, colonial towns like Puerto Vallarta, and cosmopolitan cities of Monterrey, Guadalajara and more, Mexico is anything but uniform. Its rich and colorful history, from its pre-colonial past, to its contemporary character, is patently visible.

The country's population of 109 million is a cultural amalgam composed of the descendents of an array of indigenous peoples who have called this vast land home for thousands of years. Its countless attractions, from the beaches of Cancun to the archeological sites of Mesoamerica, have made Mexico a traveler's paradise. Thanks to its generous proportions, however, “off the beaten track” exploration also abounds.

Mexico City is the county’s capital and cultural hub. This sprawling metropolis is home to many of Mexico’s most significant museums and historical sites. Whether it’s the Museum of Modern Art or the historical Plaza de la Constitution, the Mexico city is at the forefront of arts and culture.

Given the impressive size of Mexico, the country is composed of regions that greatly vary in climate. The desert regions are windy, experiencing hot days and cool nights.

Mexican food is an attraction onto itself, with unique tastes beyond the typical burrito, that are savory, sweet, and spicy, spanning the country and offering visitors a totally unmistakable culinary experience.
